RENOVATION INFORMATION:
Before renovating your unit, such as bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, installing new impact windows, exterior doors, replacing air conditioning, installing of cable tv, etc. a renovation request must be completed.
All renovation requests must be submitted to the Marine Colony Property Manager:

Once a complete renovation request package has been received a review of all information will be completed. Owner will be contacted if there are any questions or if additional information is required. If renovation request has been approved an approval letter from the Board will be provided to attach to the contractor's permit application that must be submitted to the City of Pompano Beach. Owners not approved for submitted renovation request will be notified in writing.

INSURANCE:
Any work performed requires certificates of insurance from contractors or vendors that will be performing work in your unit. Certificates of insurance must indicate current liability and workers compensation coverage. Renovation request will not be approved without proof of service provider's current coverage. PLEASE PUT UNIT NUMBER ON CERTIFICATE.
MARINE COLONY MUST BE NAMED AS AN ADDITIONAL INSURED OR CERTIFICATE HOLDER ON ALL INSUANCE CERTIFICATES:

CONSTRUCTION SECUJRITY DEPOSIT $500.00:
Will be held in escrow until all work is complete, common areas or roof have been inspected for damage and a copy of the signed approved final permit inspection has been received by the Association.
AIR CONDITIONING:
Roof access requires a minimum of 24 hour advance notice. Contact Alliance Systems to arrange roof access at
954-745-7562. AC units must be removed from and lifted onto the roof with a crane.
ROOF ACCESS:

ROOF ACCESS IS NOT GUARANTEED WITH MINIMUM NOTICE:
It is strongly advised to always give additional notice when requesting roof access. Any vendor requiring roof access must have current Certificate of Insurance on file before roof access will be granted.
WINDOWS AND DOORS:
Windows and doors must be white frame, "charcoal" screen, no exceptions. Entry doors can be with or without glass.
WORK HOURS:
Work hours for renovations or commercial services are the following: Monday through Friday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. All commercial trucks, workers, tools and debris must be off site no later than 5:00 pm. No work is allowed at any time on Sunday or holidays. WORK HOURS ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
